What we offer

We offer a series of innovative patented procedures for tertiary oil recovery based on surging existing wells in consolidated formations without toxic chemicals or complicated operations. We can furnish hardware, laboratory test equipment, manufacturing and assembly drawings and specifications, operating instructions, and consultation on field operations.

The available hardware is a through-tubing, pressure actuated tool that locks into the profile using the locking mandrel (no need to pull the tubing). The pressure-actuated valve isolates the formation while pressure in the tubing is reduced, building up a pressure differential. Once a target differential is reached, the valve opens and surges the perforations, removing debris from clogged perforations that had never flowed and cleaning out compacted zones in others. Lab test equipment is also available.

The tool is retrievable and re-usable, facilitating multiple surges and a more thorough unclogging of the perforation tunnels. Re-use reduces cost per operation of the tool.

Licensing available for variants of the current method. Contact us to get in touch and discuss.

The technology (tools and methodology) is built on Emmet Brieger’s years of experience as a well services engineer, designer, and inventor at Schlumbeger Well Services, Geo Vann, and as a private well services consultant.

To see why this surge technology is so important to tertiary oil recovery, see the Scientific background section.  Examples show how effective surging can be; see Results.

Our well surge procedures provide simple, low-cost, highly effective operations to increase flow and production in existing wells—without toxic chemicals and with minimal risk to the wells.

It’s the minimalist approach with a huge result.
